This method of marketing is particularly popular and effective with consumers aged 13 to 38. According to the 2025 Sprout Social Index, 89% of Gen Z social media users are on Instagram, 84% are on YouTube, and 82% are on TikTok. For brands, this creates an incredible opportunity to use these platforms by finding what their target audience engages with and using it to boost their brand.
