Our chapter participates in a variety of competitive events throughout the year, preparing for events at the International Collegiate Conference. Students use their marketing skills from the classroom to apply to real world applications. Whether its preparing for interviews, testing their web design skills, or completing a marketing plan, AMA students have the exclusive opportunity to excel.

Our chapter has earned recognition at past conferences for our outstanding contributions in fundraising efforts, communications, and chapter planning. The chapter has also received honorable mentions for our dedication for Marketing Week and the Case Competition. These mentions highlight the dedication, teamwork, commitment, and passion our members have.

Perfect Pitch Competition

At the International Collegiate Conference, AMA hosts the Perfect Pitch Competition. Students from all attending chapters have the opportunity to compete against each other crafting a 90 second pitch to position themselves as the ideal candidate for a job listing. Students are expected to showcase three selling points for their qualifications.

AMA Collegiate Case Competition

The AMA Collegiate Case Competition is a semester-long event that brings together top marketing students to work on a business challenge submitted by a sponsoring organization. The top ten written case submissions selected will compete and present their case to the case judging panel at the International Collegiate Conference.

Website Competition

Each year, our chapter website committee collaborates to enhance the website. The new version is then submitted for evaluation based on a detailed rubric provided by the AMA. The goal is to make sure each chapter website is up to date while also encouraging students to join our chapter.

T-Shirt Competition

AMA chapter members get the chance to participate in the Chapter T-Shirt Competition. Each chapter submits one sample that will be displayed at the International Collegiate Conference. The design showcases creativity and chapter spirit. The conference will vote for their favorite design that is then printed and worn by all members.
