SUMMIT FOR MARKETING AND ADVERTISING CAREERS
On Friday, March 5, 2021 we hosted our fifth annual but first virtual MAC SMAC in accordance with university guidelines from 8:40 AM – 2:30 PM.
MAC SMAC 2021 was a huge success as hundreds of students and faculty attended the event. The event began with the Real-World Business Challenge as students presented their marketing solutions to help local businesses improve their business model during unprecedented times. After teams presented, members moved to attend the Keynote conference, featuring Christopher Grave, the President and Founder of Ogilvy Center for Behavioral Science, where he shared his experience and knowledge.
Shortly after, attendees watched the first panel featuring industry professionals from the Boston Red Sox, Dunkin’ Donuts, VF Timberland, and Infiniti. At the conclusion of the first panel, students had the opportunity to attend a virtual career fair through MAC SMAC. After students participated in the career fair, they had the opportunity to hear from a panel of young alumni speak on life after college. Students and faculty connected with industry professionals and much knowledge was shared throughout the process.
